Terms & Conditions

Before confirming your order with Aunty Banty's Bakery please read the below Terms and Conditons.  
 

This document tells you the terms and conditions in which we sell and supply goods to you.  

ONLINE ORDERS

 This includes, cake pops, boxed favours, cake slices, cake pop bouquets, mini boxes and bites.

DISPATCH LEAD TIME

Once you proceed through checkout and make your payment, your order will be dispatched within 7 days unless alternative dispatch date has been confirmed via email.  

 

REFUNDS

Refunds are not available for online orders.

 

DELIVERY/COLLECTION​

Orders of 48 cake pops & under will be dispatched via Royal Mail using the delivery service chosen when placing your order.  All ‘Signed for’ and 'Next Day’ delivery services will require a signature upon delivery.  We will not be held responsible for any missed deliveries.  If parcels are returned to your local Royal Mail sorting office for collection, it is the customer's responsibility to collect the parcel in adequate time.  Each Sorting Office has their own individual opening times and we take so responsibility if said Sorting Office is closed.  We cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by circumstances out of my control.

 

For collection orders from Wolverhampton, once order has been collected you are responsible for it and we will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage caused by customer’s transportation or storage of the cake pops.

LOSS OR DAMAGE 

When posting Cake Pops, we ensure that each Cake Pop is wrapped with the utmost care and attention.  However we cannot be held responsible for any products lost or damaged once they have been left in the care of Royal Mail or any other courier company.  For collections, we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by customers transportation or storage of the cake pops.  We cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by circumstances out of my control.

VARIATION OF PRODUCT

Cake pops are a hand made product and the cake pops you order may differ slightly to the images shown on my website or social media pages.

WEDDING/EVENT ORDERS
Payment Information
BOOKING DEPOSIT

Payment of your deposit confirms your agreement with our Terms & Conditions.
DEPOSIT PAYMENT

To secure your booking, we require a non-refundable booking of 50% of the value of your order.
FULL PAYMENT

For Wedding Orders, the balance of your invoice must be paid in full no later than 6 weeks before the date of delivery.

PAYMENTS

Payments can be made via bank transfer.  All payments must have cleared before dispatch or collection of your order.  

 

BOOKING DEPOSIT

To secure your booking with Aunty Banty's Bakery, we require a non refundable 50% deposit for all large cake pop orders, wedding cake, celebration cakes and cake pop tower orders. Your date is not confirmed until we have received the booking deposit.

All quotations will be sent via e-mail and are valid for 7 days from date of issue. We reserve the right to revise prices after this period.

 

REMAINING BALANCE

The balance of your invoice must be paid in full no later than 6 weeks before the date of delivery/dispatch.

 

CANCELLATION

All cancellations must be made in writing. If for any reason you have to cancel your booking, the booking deposit is non-refundable. 

 

For cancellations of orders, with less than 6 weeks notice, the full payment (including the booking deposit) is non-refundable. 

 

WEDDING INSURANCE

We cannot express the importance of you looking into wedding insurance. It is of course your decision if you wish to take an insurance policy out or not. 

 

COLLECTION​

For collection orders from Wolverhampton, once order has been collected you are responsible for it and we will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage caused by customer’s transportation or storage of the cake pops/wedding cake/celebration cake/cake pop towers.  

 

DELIVERY VIA COURRIER 

​All large orders of cake pops will be dispatched via Royal Mail or Parcel Force using Next Day Delivery service.  A signature will be required upon delivery.  We will not be held responsible for any missed deliveries.  If parcels are returned to your local Royal Mail sorting office for collection, it is the customers responsibility to collect the parcel in adequate time.  Each Sorting Office has their own individual opening times and we take no responsibility if said Sorting Office is closed.  We cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by circumstances out of our control.

 

DELIVERY/SET UP​

We are happy to deliver your cakes at an extra charge. This will be included in your initial quote.

 

Once the order has been delivered and set up, you are responsible for it and we will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage arising. If the cake is moved after set up Aunty Banty's Bakery will not take any responsibility for any loss or damage arising. 

 

If you request that we leave your cake/favours/tower somewhere or with someone, this is your responsibility. We will not be liable if they do not arrive with you safely after we have handed them over.

LOSS OR DAMAGE

POSTPONEMENTS

If you wish to postpone your wedding booking date for any reason, you must request this by email, and we will check our availability. All deposit payments would then be transferred to the new date and any items listed in the invoice, provided they are available. 

 

In the event that Aunty Banty's Bakery are not available for the postponed Wedding/Event date, our cancellation policy (above) remains. 

 

Postponements are available up until 6 weeks before the scheduled event date, after this, dates are non-transferable and final balances for the original dates are payable. 

 

We therefore strongly recommend you take out wedding insurance to cover your date. 

 

REFUNDS

Cake Pops are a food product; therefore we are unable to issue a refund.

 

VARIATION OF PRODUCT 

We offer hand made product therefore each order may differ slightly to the images shown on my website or social media pages.

 

STAND HIRE 

Due to the expense of different stands, each stand hire charge will vary. 

 

All hire items belong to Aunty Banty's Bakery and must not be defaced, tampered with or changed.  All breakages, loss or damages must be paid to replace like for like within 7 days of event.  

 

All hire items are your responsibility until they are returned back to Aunty Banty's Bakery.

 

Damaged, broken or lost Items will remain the property of the Company and a replacement charge will be invoiced to the Customer for any products that are damaged, broken or lost.  These items will be invoiced to the Customer to replace like for like including P&P.

 

Unless stated otherwise all hire items must be returned within 3 days of hire.

 

FINAL DESIGN

We will create your orders exactly as written throughout correspondence and in the confirmation email, which is sent 6 weeks before the delivery date. Please double check that it is detailed, as you require. 

 

By paying your final invoice, you are confirming that what is detailed on the final confirmation is exactly what you want us to provide.

​ALLERGIES

Our cakes contain gluten, wheat, dairy and eggs unless otherwise stated. We are happy to accommodate for certain allergies however, please consider this is a working kitchen full of a wide range of ingredients. While we offer a gluten-free option (for cake pops), our kitchen is not a gluten-free kitchen. We take the upmost care to ensure cross-contamination is kept to a minimum. However, cross-contamination could occur and we are unable to guarantee that any item can be completely free of allergens.  

 

We cannot guarantee that any of our products do not contain any substance that may cause some form of allergic reaction. You are responsible for advising your guests of this and we will not accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury from exposure to anything, which might cause an allergic reaction. This may include, but without limitation, nuts, nut products, alcohol, dairy, wheat, sulphates or colouring.  

 

You should also note that some decorations are not edible (fresh flowers, dried flowers, ribbons, can pop sticks, straws, boards, etc). You are responsible for advising your guests of this and we will not accept any liability for any loss, damage, illness or injury arising from any such exposure. 

 

Please refer to our allergen page for a list of the allergen contained in our products.   If you require a detailed dietary list, this must be requested a minimum of 6 weeks before your event. If a venue require a list of ingredients this is to be requested via you and not the venue.

Aunty Banty's Bakery do not hold any responsibility for adverse weather conditions affecting access to any venue. Aunty Banty's Bakery will make every attempt to get to the venue only when it is deemed safe.. 

 

Aunty Banty's Bakery cannot be held responsible for ‘Acts of God’ (Fire, flood etc), Government Advice, Pandemics, labour disputes, failure of electricity supply and any other unforeseeable circumstance that prevent the promise of its services. 

 

 

Aunty Banty's Bakery reserve the rights to review and update the Terms and Conditions periodically.
