FAQ

What is a cake pop?

A cake pop is cake mixed with buttercream to create a gooey delicious brownie type texture, rolled into balls and placed on a lollipop stick - hence the name cake pop.  Cake pops are dipped in chocolate and decorated in sprinkles, fondant or more chocolate to create the most beautiful favours.

How should I store my cake pops?

In a cool dry place away from any heat source - we don’t want that chocolate to melt!

Do you offer gluten free options?

Yes, my Indulgent chocolate flavour is available in a gluten free option.

While we offer a gluten-free option, we are not a gluten-free kitchen. We take the utmost care to ensure cross-contamination is kept to minimum. However, cross-contamination could occur and we are unable to guarantee that any item can be completely free of allergens.

Do you offer eggless cake pops?

Yes, our indulgent chocolate & buttery vanilla cake pops are available in an eggless option.

Do your cake pops contain nuts?

I do not use Nuts in our cake pops or slices but the ingredients we use may be produced using equipment that also processes Nuts, meaning there is a risk of cross-contamination.

How long will cake pops keep?

I recommend cake pops to be eaten within 14 days. Cake pops are dipped in chocolate which helps lock in the flavour and keeps them fresh for longer.

Are cake pops individually wrapped?

Yes, each cake pop is wrapped in clear cello bags and tied using a silver twist tie.  If your order has a mixture of flavours, a label will be placed on the bottom of the cello bag to indicate the flavour inside.

Can you create a cake pop favour completely unique to me?

Yes! I love it when I get asked to make something completely different.  I love a challenge and will be thrilled to work with you to create something special for your big day.

Can I customise your designs to fit my colour scheme?

Yes of course! All the designs you see on my website can be customised to suit any colour scheme or wedding theme you have.

For small orders of 6 - 24 cake pops orders can be placed via my online shop.  Orders of 24 cake pops and over, please get in touch either by using the contact form on my contact page or email me on auntybantysbakery@gmail.com

Where do you ship too?

I ship all across the United Kingdom.

How long does it take to complete & dispatch an order?

If placing an order via my website, I will aim to have your cake pops dispatched within 5-7 working days.

How long will delivery take?

That depends on the delivery service you opt for, ‘1st class signed’ for delivery takes around 1-3 days & ‘Special Next day’ will arrive the following day.

How will my cake pops be packaged?

For postal orders, cake pops are shipped in a brown postal box & are individually wrapped in clear cellophane bags and a layer of bubble wrap to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Collection orders are placed in our sleek black branded boxes.

How will my order be dispatched?

I dispatch all orders using Royal Mail's ‘1st class signed for’ service which can take 1-3 days to arrive.  If you require cake pops sooner, I recommend adding ‘Special Next Day’ delivery at checkout to ensure they arrive the next day.

All wedding orders are dispatched using ‘Next Day’ service via Royal Mail or ParcelForce Express24 delivery (depending on the size of the order).

Can I collect my cake pops?

Yes of course, if you’re local to Wolverhampton then you are welcome to collect.  I do ask that once a time & date has been confirmed that you arrive on time.  If you are running late, please let me know.

When should I place my order for my wedding?

I recommend booking in at least 6 months before your big day but don’t worry if your wedding is less than 6 months away. Please still get in touch, I always try my absolute best to accommodate.

How much deposit do you require if I book in advance?

I require a 50% deposit to confirm your booking with the final balance to be made 6 weeks prior to your event.
